Adea Org Pass

The Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) was enacted in 1967. Many organizations and business turn to the ADEA to understand what their rights are under the act. Passage of the act was a great accomplishment for the older workforce In America. Workers who are 40 years old or older are protected under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act as long as they work for a business that has at least 30 employees. There many organizations that take a stand against discrimination of any kind, and the ADEA is one of the acts they refer to when a complaint of discrimination is presented to them. Other acts have passed since the ADEA, and all are designed to establish equality in the workplace.
