Are there any reverse age discrimination policies that could provide me with protection?

At my company, there are many older managers who have been here forever. While I understand that some perks come with being with a company for a long time, it seems like younger managers are treated really unfairly in comparison with older managers. Are there any reverse age discrimination policies that could provide me with protection? If so, how should I go about documenting age discrimination that I see occurring?

Age discrimination protection laws protect only those over the age of 40 years old. Those who are younger are not protected under the law from age discrimination, according to a 2004 Supreme Court case called General Dynamics Land Systems Inc v. Cline (29 USC 623(a). Therefore, even if you properly go about documenting age discrimination, you likely will not be able to recover. However, if you have doubts about this issue, you should consult with an experienced age discrimination attorney who may be able to provide you with further guidance on how to protect your job and ensure you are treated fairly.
